بيان صادر عن الحركة المدنية الحقوقية المستقلة بشأن وفاة الشيخ انيس الجردمي

قبل كل شيء تود أن …تتقدم الحركة المدنية الحقوقية المستقلة وكافة المنتشبين إليها ، بخالص و عظيم الأجر والمواساة لأسرة الشيخ أنيس الجردمي، ولقبيلته، ولكل محبيه، الذي وافته المنية اليوم. “إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون”.
تطالب الحركة المدنية الحقوقية المستقلة بفتح تحقيق فوري وشامل من قبل جهات مستقلة ودولية، للكشف عن الملابسات التي أحاطت بوفاة الشيخ أنيس الجردمي، وخاصةً ما تعرض له أثناء اعتقاله بأوامر قهرية من قبل مدير أمن عدن، وحتى لحظة نقله إلى المستشفى. كما نطالب بالتدقيق في صحة الإجراءات القانونية التي أدت إلى توقيفه لمدة شهرين…

Statement from the Independent Civil Rights Movement
First and foremost,
The Independent Civil Rights Movement, along with all its affiliates, extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the family of Sheikh Anis Al-Jardami, to his tribe, and to all his loved ones, who passed away today. “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.”
The Independent Civil Rights Movement demands an immediate and comprehensive investigation by independent and international bodies to uncover the circumstances surrounding the death of Sheikh Anis Al-Jardami, especially concerning what he endured during his detention under coercive orders from the Aden Security Director, up until the moment he was transferred to the hospital. We also call for scrutiny of the legality of the procedures that led to his two-month detention.
